Role : Responsible for 1st level support to local customers and regional escalation support on our SMT Solution equipment including installation, hotline management and field servicing activities to customers.
Responsibilities : Performs machine installation, commissioning, on-site training and production monitoring Performs standby service support Responds to customer and regional service calls and attend to problem at customer side when required Provides on-site training to customers Participates in continuous improvement and developing of new ideas and technology on product training delivery that add value to our customers Other technical related activities related to SMT Solutions offerings
Requirements : Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical and Computer / Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience. For the Senior Engineer role, a minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience is required. Experience in Printer, Pick & Place and Solder Paste Inspection machines is a must Experience in SMT equipment especially ASMPT one is preferred Experience in SMT Process and Applications, Line Software’s integration, MES and Industrial Automation preferred Knowledge in basic project management skills will be advantageous Strong analytical and problem solving skills Results & quality oriented Team player and able to collaborate effectively with others Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, and open to relocation
