We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to help build a first-of-its-kind insurance experience for users across India. We are building a product that moves beyond traditional insurance and engages users daily. As a product manager, you will have high growth opportunities and visibility across the entire insurance business, with regular collaboration with all other business functions, including design, engineering, data, sales, marketing, strategy, customer experience, underwriting, and claims.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following :
Customer and Market Insight :
- Conduct user research and gather insights from customer interviews, support tickets, usage data, and analytics tools to uncover pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Deeply understand user personas and build empathy through direct engagement and journey mapping.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable product insights and problem statements.
- Proactively identify product gaps and propose enhancements aligned with business and user goals.
Product Planning and Execution :
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of small-to-medium product features or components from discovery to go-live and post-launch learning.Write clear and concise product requirement documents (PRDs), with measurable success criteria.Collaborate closely with design and engineering to define solutions, refine scope, and iterate based on feasibility and user feedback.Use experimentation and hypothesis-driven approaches to validate new ideas and iterate on MVPs.Actively participate in QA cycles to ensure high product quality and alignment with the intended Collaboration :Work with stakeholders across engineering, design, business, operations, and customer support to gather inputs and align on priorities.Communicate product decisions and rationale clearly across different audiences from leadership to front-line teams.Participate in agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery.Take ownership of stakeholder feedback loops and continuously refine features based on evolving needs.Product Thinking and Growth :
Demonstrate a structured approach to solving problems using first-principles thinking.Track product metrics post-release, analyze performance, and identify levers to improve adoption, engagement, or efficiency.Stay curious about the industry, competitors, and emerging tech to inform product decisions.Embody a builder mindset, proactive, resourceful, and driven to deliver impact in a fast-paced environment.Requirements :
