Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to support our Audio-Visual (AV) projects and service operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of AV systems across a variety of environments, including corporate, educational, and commercial settings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead or assist in the installation and configuration of AV systems including displays, speakers, microphones, control systems, and video conferencing equipment.
- Interpret AV system design drawings, wiring schematics, and project documentation.
- Conduct site surveys and assist in project planning and execution.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure functionality and performance standards are met.
- Provide technical support during and after AV system deployment.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on-site.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on all AV systems and service activities.
- Train end-users or clients on system operation when required.
Qualifications & Skills :
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field.Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AV systems engineering or a similar role.Proficient in AV technologies such as Crestron, Extron, Logitech, Poly, Cisco Webex, and Zoom Rooms.Strong knowledge of signal flow, cabling, and AV integration best practices.Familiarity with control systems programming and diagnostics is an added advantage.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic project environments.Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.Preferred Certifications (Optional) :
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)Crestron DMC-E / Extron Certification / AMX CertificationAVIXA Membership or equivalent
