SAP FICO / FSCD Consultant – IFRS17 Compliance Implementation

Location : India (Remote / Hybrid options available)

Experience Required : 8+ Years

Employment Type : Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO / FSCD Consultant with a strong background in IFRS17 compliance to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing SAP solutions aligned with IFRS17 standards and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance for clients in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP FICO / FSCD solutions aligned with IFRS17 standards.
  • Collaborate with finance, actuarial, and IT teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and support integration efforts.
  • Ensure accurate mapping of accounting data and reporting structures to meet IFRS17 guidelines.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IFRS17 regulations and SAP architecture to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live phases.
  • Support user training and documentation efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO / FSCD implementations.
  • Proven experience with IFRS17 compliance and reporting solutions.
  • Deep understanding of insurance accounting processes and financial reporting standards.

    • Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) and / or FSCD (Financial Services Collections and Disbursements).
  • Demonstrated success in delivering IFRS17 compliant systems.
  • Ability to analyze and translate regulatory requirements into technical configurations.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in or with clients from the financial services or insurance sectors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules such as SAP BW, S / 4HANA is a plus.
