About the role

Carrier Transicold is looking for a Program Manager to be responsible for organizing embedded software programs and activities for Carrier Transicold Software organization. Candidate will be tasked with developing, delivering programs to support the organization's strategic product development and also drive programs for supporting existing products. Candidate will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals. In order to be successful in this role, candidate will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management.

Key Responsibilities : Essential Competencies :

• Proven expertise in all aspects of Product development process, right from conceptualization to field deployment to support
• Strong in Embedded C and C with minimum 8 to 12 years experience
• Experience in non-OS(bare metal) and FreeRTOS based system design.
• Hands on Development experience with CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C, Timers, Graphics LCD, EEPROM and Flash Driver interfaces
• Must have 5-8 years of experience in UI design and development on Graphics controllers in Embedded domain using C and C
• Experience in MVC and Design Patterns is must
• Experience in localization implementation for Europe and Asia languages
• Experience on ARM 32 bit Microcontrollers, experience with Renesas controllers is preferred
• Must have experience in Debugging, Troubleshooting Embedded systems using Emulators, JTAG / BDM Debuggers etc
• Architecture, Design and Documentation of Embedded Systems Software
• Hands on Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
• Work closely with systems, hardware, validation / reliability and manufacturing engineering disciplines
• Able to understand hardware design and schematics at high level
• Must have experience with software version control and defect tracking software
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and processes (Water fall, Agile)
