The Manager, Health and Nutrition (State Program Lead) is a fixed-term position until March 2027, offering you the opportunity to lead impactful health and nutrition initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.
In this role, you will play a central part in driving Technical Assistance (TA) efforts for the Anganwadi and school-based NDD programs, as well as any new programs aligned with the EAII expansion plan in the state.
You will report to the National Program Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams at the National Office, particularly on policy advocacy, partnership management, and program coordination.
Collaboration will be key - you'll engage with departments, partners, and stakeholders to ensure that program objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the TA plan including strategic planning, policy advocacy, operational planning, program management, supply chain strengthening, capacity building, community mobilization, and monitoring and evaluation.
You will also manage government and stakeholder relationships, oversee program budgeting and financial reviews, and provide guidance and mentorship to the state-based program Management and Technical Lead the development of annual workplans and budgets for submission to National Office
as part of program learning documentation and dissemination.
Advocacy and Partnership Lead efforts to maintain a high level of support to Department of Health and other stakeholders as identified for effective implementation of the state-wide school and anganwadi based NDD programs
Strategic Lead the design of NDD program components to increase deworming coverage in the state of Andhra Pradesh
