Role Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hybrid Cloud Architect who can work independently and lead strategic conversations across core infrastructure and broader IT teams. The ideal candidate will possess the technical depth and business acumen to review new product offerings from the customer’s perspective and develop scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Enterprise Infrastructure Understanding
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure : Compute, Storage, Network, Security, Observability, Resiliency (HA, Backup, DR).
- Proficient in Enterprise Networking Architecture and Hybrid Cloud strategies across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments.
- Familiarity with Private Cloud Environments (PCE); hands-on experience is not mandatory.
Architecture & Design
Design and architect multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions using the appropriate hyperscaler technologies.Ensure cloud architectures are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized per business requirements.Establish and enforce infrastructure design, build, and implementation processes and policies.Migrations & Repatriation
Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of cloud migrations and repatriation efforts.Manage teams in delivering complex solutions including migrations, repatriation, and infrastructure builds.Optimization & Cost Management
Analyze cloud and PCE billing to identify cost-saving opportunities.Lead audit and optimization initiatives to control and reduce cloud spend.Recommend and implement Reserved Instances (RI), Savings Plans (SP), or Spot Instances to optimize operational expenses.Improve application and infrastructure performance through continuous evaluation.Security & Compliance
Ensure all cloud environments adhere to industry security standards and compliance requirements.Reporting & Communication
Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and present project status to senior leadership.Document technical and process details with clarity and accuracy.Collaborate with customers, sales, and delivery teams to identify growth opportunities and enhance engagement.Required Skills & Experience :
Strong expertise in infrastructure and cloud solution architecture.Experience with cloud migrations and application repatriation.Understanding of PCE, VMware, NSX-T, Veeam Backup Solutions, OpsRamp.Familiar with GL Metering.Hands-on knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Experience in pursuit and pre-sales activities.This role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise cloud strategy, drive innovation, and lead mission-critical infrastructure transformations.
