Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Magento Developer with 36 years of experience to join our team in Chennai for an Onsite role. This position is central to the development and maintenance of our modern e-commerce platform, focusing heavily on building scalable APIs for headless frontends and integrating Magento with critical enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will write clean, secure, and reusable code while possessing the technical depth to lead version upgrades and optimize platform performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• API Development for Headless Architecture : Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, custom REST and / or GraphQL APIs within the Magento framework to support communication with modern headless frontend applications (React / Node).
• Enterprise Systems Integration : Design and implement robust, reliable data synchronization and communication services to integrate Magento with external, mission-critical enterprise systems, including :
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for inventory and order management.
• Logistics and fulfillment providers for shipping and tracking.
• Various Payment Gateways and specialized Loyalty Systems.
• Platform Maintenance and Upgrades : Lead the technical planning and execution of version upgrades for Magento 2.x, ensuring stability, compatibility, and minimal downtime across the production environment.
• Module Development and Quality : Write efficient, reusable, and secure custom Magento modules and services using best practices, adhering to Magentos coding standards and object-oriented principles.
• Performance Optimization and Debugging : Proactively identify, debug, and resolve complex issues within the Magento codebase, including database queries, third-party module conflicts, and PHP logic. Optimize system components to enhance overall platform performance and speed.
