As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for building the HR function from the ground up, creating a high-performance, mission-driven culture. You will own the full spectrum of HR operations—from talent acquisition and employee engagement to compliance and performance management—tailored to the unique needs of a high-growth, innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for engineering, R&D, and corporate roles.
- Build hiring pipelines through strategic partnerships with academic institutions, incubators, and industry networks.
- Develop employer branding initiatives aligned with our deep tech culture.
- People Operations
- Design and implement HR systems, processes, and tools (onboarding, HRIS, policies).
- Oversee payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Performance & Culture
- Develop and drive a performance management system tailored for technical and research roles.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, agility, and accountability.
- Organize training programs and career development initiatives for deep tech professionals.
- Compliance & Policies
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance (including labor laws, safety norms).
- Draft and maintain HR policies in sync with startup dynamics and aerospace industry standards.
- Strategic Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Enable a feedback-rich environment and lead internal communication efforts.
Key Requirements
3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a startup, deep tech, or R&D-intensive environment.Proven experience in building HR systems and culture from scratch.Strong understanding of technical hiring, especially for engineering / scientific roles.Exposure to labor laws, HR compliance, and aerospace / defense HR practices is a plus.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.What We Offer
