ServiceNow Senior Consultant - ITSM

Key Responsibilities :

  • ServiceNow ITSM Development & Configuration : Enhance and customize ServiceNow ITSM modules to meet business requirements.
  • Innovative Solutions & Automation : Leverage ServiceNow plugins, automation tools, and workflow optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Integration Expertise : Develop point-to-point integrations using REST / SOAP Web Services, JSON, file-based transfers, and middleware.
  • Platform Support & Troubleshooting : Conduct monitoring, root-cause analysis, bug fixes, and proactive system maintenance.
  • Technical Advisory & Best Practices : Provide configuration options, detailing pros & cons- for optimal system performance.
  • Agile Collaboration : Participate in user story grooming, architecture review, and design sessions to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Deployment & Release Management : Execute solution deployments- across sub-production and production environments.
  • Training & Documentation : Develop technical guides, policies, release notes , and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement & Compliance : Identify system gaps, ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, and drive platform enhancements.

Required Qualifications :

  • Expert ServiceNow Technical Skills : Proficiency in UI Policies, UI Pages, Macros, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Mid Server Configuration, ACLs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Update Sets.
  • Advanced Development & Scripting : Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) : Technical leadership across ITSM, SPM , and ServiceNow product solutions.
  • CMDB & Orchestration Experience : Knowledge of Asset Management, CMDB, Orchestration, and Service Watch.
  • Agile Development & Application Lifecycle : Deep experience with - Agile / SAFe methodologies- and full SDLC implementation.
  • Leadership & Cross-Team Collaboration : Ability to - mentor teams, lead projects, and interact effectively- with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • ITIL v3 / v4 Certification
  • Agile / Scrum Certification
  • ServiceNow CIS Certification (Preferred across ITSM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, etc.)
