Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Executive at The Academy School, Pune located in Dange Chowk, tathawade, Pimpri- Chinchwad. The Human Resources Executive will be responsible for HR management, operations, employee relations, implementing HR policies, and overseeing human resources functions within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies in alignment with educational regulations and labor laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation using HR software.
- Oversee attendance, leave management, and ensure timely payroll coordination.
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- Coordinate professional development programs and track staff training needs.
- Manage and Support performance management systems, including appraisals and goal-setting processes.
- Ensure compliance with child protection, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the school’s values and mission.
- Liaise with school leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
- Provide HR metrics and reports to management as needed.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human ResourcesBusiness Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 3 years of HR experiencepreferably in education or a similar setting.Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance in the education sector.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Empathy, discretion, integrity and a collaborative mindset.
