QA Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Tester to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation a deep understanding of the software testing lifecycle and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will play a key role in identifying issues improving processes and contributing to product innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

Design develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Python Selenium Robot Framework or Playwright.

Participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle including planning execution defect tracking and reporting.

Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document test cases track defects and collaborate with team members.

Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of software applications.

Conduct API testing (preferred) and integrate it into the automation suite.

Collaborate closely with developers QA engineers documentation teams and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Think from the users perspective to identify potential usability issues and ensure a seamless user experience.

Apply strong analytical skills to identify risk areas estimate testing scope and ask critical questions to improve product quality.

Continuously assess and improve testing processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools trends and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proven experience (4 years preferred) as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.

Strong understanding of testing methodologies defect management and types of testing.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and scripting in Python.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Nice to Have :

Experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured).

Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

Knowledge of performance or security testing is a plus.
