Key responsibilities of an Accountant :
- Maintain Financial Records – Recording day-to-day transactions.
- Prepare Financial Statements – Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow.
- Bank Reconciliation – Matching company records with bank statements.
- GST & TDS Filing – Timely calculation and return submission.
- Payroll Processing – Salary calculation, deductions, and disbursement.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist in planning and financial projections.
- Audit Support – Preparing data and coordinating with auditors.
- Vendor & Customer Ledger Management – Maintain payable / receivable accounts.
- Compliance – Ensure all statutory and tax laws are followed.
- MIS Reporting – Share regular management reports and summaries.
