Job Responsibilities :
- Identify, prospect, and establish strategic partnerships with agencies and brands, cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored to client needs and business objectives.
- Negotiate contract terms effectively and leverage strong closing skills to secure new business and achieve revenue targets.
- Achieve and exceed established goals for sales, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, pricing, and yield.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, evaluate customer needs, and generate qualified leads.
- Proactively pursue and convert leads into active clients, managing the full sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, creative, and technical teams to develop tailored client solutions, incorporating competitive analysis and innovative sponsorship concepts.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and agency personnel, ensuring timely and effective fulfilment of requests and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, sales databases, and prepare regular sales reports.
- Drive the sale of diverse advertising solutions, including program sponsorships, spot packages, and other media offerings.
- Continuously expand the client database through strategic networking, cold calling, and leveraging referrals.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet and exceed business development targets within established timelines, demonstrating resilience under pressure.
Skills & Qualifications Required :
Experience & Knowledge :2-5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within the media or advertising sector.Strong digital sales acumen with a clear understanding of the online advertising ecosystem.Knowledge of the broader media industry is a significant advantage.A demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.Technical & Operational Skills :Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for daily operations and reporting.Solid financial and business acumen.Interpersonal & Personal Attributes :Excellent communication (written, oral, and presentation), interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to a rapidly evolving media landscape.Proactive self-starter with high energy and creativity.Effective multitasking, time management, and project management capabilities.
