Job Description – Senior Design Engineer (CATIA V5)

1. Role Overview

We are looking for highly skilled Senior Design Engineers with 4+ years of experience in CAD design and CATIA V5 modeling. The selected engineers will work on a full-scale mechanical design project executed entirely from our Bengaluru office, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables with strong data confidentiality and collaboration.

2. Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

Develop precise 3D solid and surface models using CATIA V5.

Prepare 2D detailed drawings , assembly drawings, and GD&T-compliant documentation.

Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and design-related documentation.

3. Required Skills & Expertise

4+ years of hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Surface Modeling, Assembly, Drafting).

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing processes .

Ability to create complex 3D models and detailed engineering drawings.

Experience in BOM creation, design validation, and documentation .

Strong problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

4. Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering disciplines.
