Job descriptionDevelop and deploy AWS-based solutions, leveraging services such as Redshift, S3, RDS, and more. Work with ETL tools and frameworks to automate and optimize data integration processes. Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and security. Monitor and tune Redshift clusters to improve query performance and resource utilization. Implement compression techniques, distribution styles, and sort keys for optimal data processing. Work closely with development, DevOps, Orchestration, and operations teams to integrate AWS services into the overall IT ecosystem. Guide and mentor junior engineers in Redshift and AWS technologies. Design security measures for Redshift, including IAM roles, encryption, and access control. Ensure compliance with data governance and industry standards. Set up and manage monitoring tools for cloud resources (e.g., AWS CloudWatch). Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the AWS environment. Plan and execute maintenance tasks such as cluster resizing and version upgrades. Strong expertise in Amazon Redshift architecture, including performance tuning and advanced configurations. Experience : 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3+ years in cloud architecture using AWS Redshift and other services. Proficiency with AWS ecosystem : S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Athena. Hands-on experience in data modelling (star schema, snowflake schema) and query optimization. Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab). Experience with programming languages like Python or SQL for data manipulation and automation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS Redshift architecture, data modelling, performance tuning, and analytics to support business intelligence and advanced analytics needs.
