About the Role :
The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of products and materials required for smooth business operations. This role involves identifying reliable vendors, negotiating competitive terms, maintaining accurate purchase records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple procurement activities while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Research and identify potential vendors to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
- Compare and evaluate supplier proposals to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with vendors.
- Track purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Inspect and verify the quality of purchased items in line with company standards.
- Enter and maintain accurate order details such as vendor information, quantities, and prices in internal systems.
- Keep updated records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoice documentation.
- Prepare and present purchase-related reports, including cost analysis and spending summaries.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Purchase Officer, Purchase Executive, or in a similar procurement role.Strong understanding of vendor sourcing practices, including research, evaluation, and vendor relationship management.Hands-on experience with purchasing or procurement software.Solid knowledge of supply chain procedures.Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.Good communication skills in English and Hindi.Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office.Job Type : Full-time
