Risk Analytics Lead (Python & SQL)
Location
Pan‑India (Hybrid—flexible mix of office and remote work)
Experience
Minimum 5 years in analytics, data science, or risk management, with hands-on exposure to credit, collections, fraud, market, or operational risk domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and quantify risk across domains—credit, fraud, collections, market, operational—and translate findings into actionable insights
- Build predictive and scoring models (e.g. PD, LGD, anomaly detection) using Python (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL
- Develop robust ETL / data pipelines to source, cleanse, transform, and integrate risk-related data
- Create and maintain dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to inform risk strategy and decision-making
- Monitor risk indicators, back-test models, and conduct model validation to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Compliance, IT, Operations) and engage with external auditors and regulators
- Document methodologies, model assumptions, data definitions, and workflows for governance and auditability
- Mentor junior analysts in best practices—coding, modeling, data stewardship, and domain knowledge
Required Skills
