Your Role

You will be an integral part of the SolarWinds global design team, contributing to the design of services that offer a comprehensive view of customers’ Cloud & Datacenter environments. Working closely with other designers on complementary services, your efforts will converge as part of larger user journeys within the SolarWinds Observability Platform.

As a product designer, your responsibilities include owning the experience for a core service and collaborating within the development crew. This involves close coordination with the Product Owner, Product Manager, and Engineering team to shape, focus, and drive the services under your responsibility.

Your Impact :

• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and engineers to ensure the strategic and efficient execution of well-planned, structured services for customers.
• Work collaboratively with other designers to create a cohesive and intuitive user journey across the SolarWinds Observability Platform.
• Apply a research and strategic mindset to ensure the product resonates with users.
• Act as an end-to-end product designer, handling tasks from sketching and prototyping to overseeing production.
• Communicate design work and decisions internally to your product team and across the organization.
• Work closely with engineering teams to understand the build process and ensure quality assurance before shipment.
• Collaborate with the research team to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Serve as the expert in your product area, mentoring other designers and contributing to design patterns and systems.
