CAD Engineer (Analog)
Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAD Engineer with 4+ years in the VLSI domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, verification, and methodology teams to develop, support, and maintain CAD flows and EDA tools to enable efficient chip design and delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain digital and analog design flows (RTL to GDSII).
- Support EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens tools for design, verification, DFT, and physical implementation.
- Automate workflows using scripting languages (Perl, Python, Shell, Tcl).
- Debug and resolve CAD tool and flow-related issues in collaboration with design teams.
- Ensure tool licenses, installation, and environment configurations are maintained properly.
- Work with vendors for tool evaluations, updates, and issue resolutions.
Requirements :
B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in ECE / EEE or related field.4+ years of CAD / EDA experience in the semiconductor industry.Strong knowledge of VLSI design flows and methodologies.Hands-on experience with EDA tools like ICC2, Genus, Innovus, Primetime, Formality, Calibre, etc.Excellent scripting and debugging skills in Python, Tcl, Shell, or Perl.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Preferred :
Exposure to version control systems like Git or Perforce.Experience in supporting multi-site design teams.Knowledge of cloud-based CAD infrastructure is a plus.Experience : 4 plus years
