Senior Project Manager - Electrical - Benin Rural Electrification Project

Location - Benin - Cotonou, West Africa

Roles & Responsibilities :

Project Management :

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices.

Business Development :

Explore and create business opportunities.

Identification of the right partner for JV wherever needed.

Ensuring timely submission of technical & financial bids.

Ensuring bid-to-win ratio as per internal plan.

Team Management :

Mentor junior project managers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

Stakeholder Communication :

Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials, contractors, and local communities.

Desired Candidate Requirements :

Education : Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering

Experience : Minimum 20+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in rural electrification or power distribution.

Overseas experience is preferable.

Technical Expertise : Deep knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems, and distribution networks.

Travel / Relocation : Willingness to relocate to Benin and travel to any location for site visit and coordination.
