Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes across various cuisines : Indian, Chinese, Continental, South Indian, Mexican, etc.
• Plan and design innovative menus that consider seasonal ingredients and market trends.
• Conduct accurate food costing and assist in maintaining food cost controls
• Supervise, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and place orders for kitchen supplies.
• Collaborate with management and other chefs to improve kitchen efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and preservation of food items
• Regularly check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met
• Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly
