Job Summary :
The Talent Acquisition Executive will be responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and hire top talent across all levels of the manufacturing organization. This includes both white-collar (engineering, R&D, operations) and blue-collar (shop floor, technicians, machine operators) roles. The role demands a deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape, labor market trends, and compliance with Indian labor laws.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES :
1) Strategic Talent Planning
- Collaborate with plant heads, production managers, and the Head - HR to forecast manpower requirements.
- Develop annual and quarterly hiring plans aligned with production schedules and business expansion goals.
- Identify critical roles and build succession pipelines.
2) Sourcing & Recruitment Execution
Design and implement sourcing strategies using job portals (e.g., Naukri, Shine), social media (), employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.Conduct campus hiring drives at ITIs, polytechnics, and engineering colleges. activitiesManage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle : job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.3) Blue-Collar Workforce Management
Partner with local contractors and labor suppliers to ensure timely availability of skilled and semi-skilled workers.Ensure compliance with labor laws, minimum wage regulations, and contract labor norms.Maintain a database of trade-tested workers and apprentices.4) Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Promote the company as an employer of choice through digital campaigns, job fairs, and industry events.Ensure a seamless and professional candidate experience from application to onboarding.Develop engaging content for career pages and social media.5) Data Management & Reporting
Maintain accurate recruitment metrics : time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and diversity ratios.Generate weekly / monthly dashboards for leadership review.Use ATS and HRMS tools to streamline hiring workflows.6) Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Liaise with department heads to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.Manage recruitment vendors, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.Coordinate with payroll, admin, and compliance teams for smooth onboarding.QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :
MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalentMinimum 3 to 8 years of experienceStrong knowledge of Indian labor laws, especially related to factories and contract laborExperience in high-volume hiring and managing blue-collar recruitmentProficiency in ATS platforms, Excel, and HR analytics and Success factor will be added advantage.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentPREFERRED EXPERIENCE :
Prior experience in automotive, FMCG, electronics, or heavy engineering sectorsExposure to unionized environments and labor relationsFamiliarity with apprenticeship programs and government skill development schemes (e.g., NAPS,NSDC, PMKVY)
