Key responsibilities
- Merchant acquisition : Actively seek out and acquire new merchant clients through prospecting, networking, and following up on leads to grow the customer base.
- Sales and promotion : Promote and sell the company's products and services, such as payment processing solutions and point-of-sale (POS) systems, to potential and existing clients.
- Onboarding : Manage the onboarding process for new merchants, ensuring a smooth transition, timely documentation, and proper setup. This includes checking original documents and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
- Relationship management : Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants by understanding their needs and providing ongoing support.
- Sales target achievement : Meet and exceed daily, monthly, and annual sales revenue targets.
- Market analysis : Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and the company's own product offerings to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
