Your role will directly contribute to higher product velocity, better developer confidence, and-most importantly-user satisfaction.

What You'll Do :

  • Own end-to-end automation for web, mobile (Android), and backend APIs.
  • Build and maintain robust automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, RestAssured or Playwright).
  • Integrate automated tests with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Write reusable, scalable test scripts for regression, sanity, and smoke suites.
  • Proactively identify test gaps and catch bugs before our users do.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer success to clarify and refine test scenarios.
  • Set up observability for test executions (reporting, dashboards, flaky test detection).
  • Drive a culture of test-first thinking in sprints and releases.

What You Bring to the Table :

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in test automation for large-scale applications.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI / CD tools, and basic DevOps workflows.
  • Ability to think critically, break systems, and root cause failures.
  • Strong communication and ownership mindset-you don't wait for others to fix what's broken.

    • Bonus If You Have :

  • Experience testing highly configurable enterprise platforms or multi-tenant SaaS.
  • Built automation in microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with performance / load testing.
  • Contribution to open-source or community tools for automation.
