Job descriptionUse automation tools to handle repetitive tasks, like deployments, monitoring, and scaling, to reduce manual intervention. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Azure ARM templates, ensuring consistency across environments. Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable and can handle increased loads by anticipating future demands. Continuously optimize system performance, from software to hardware, by analyzing bottlenecks and implementing improvements. Work closely with dev teams to ensure reliability and scalability are built into the software from the ground up. Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing on system architecture, operations procedures, and incident handling. Ensure systems are secure by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for any security breaches or vulnerabilities. Ensure that systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, SOC2).
