Position Overview

The Full Desk Recruiter w ill play a critical role in business development, recruiting, and account management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a passion for life sciences staffing. You’ll be responsible for sourcing top talent, building client relationships, and helping grow PharmaTek’s presence in the U.S. biotech and pharma sectors.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development

  • Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Engage decision-makers through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and virtual meetings.
  • Understand client business models, hiring needs, and culture to develop long-term relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with new and existing clients.

Recruiting

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions in areas such as clinical operations, regulatory affairs, R&D, quality assurance, and more.
  • Utilize multiple sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal ATS (e.g., Bullhorn), and referrals.
  • Manage candidates through the full recruitment lifecycle—sourcing, screening, presenting, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Account Management :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful placements.
  • Provide market intelligence and consultative guidance to clients on hiring trends and candidate availability.
  • Foster long-term partnerships by delivering exceptional service and support to both clients and candidates.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Desk Recruiter or in a similar role within the US staffing or professional services industry.
  • Industry experience in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical staffing is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in client acquisition, candidate placement, and account management.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to close new accounts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Proficient with CRM / ATS tools such as Bullhorn, JobDiva, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing responsibilities across multiple time zones.
  • Additional Requirements

  • Candidate Must be based in India, preferably Chennai / Bangalore or Hyderabad with ability to travel if needed
  • Must be available to work full-time during U.S. Eastern Time Zone (ET) hours
