The Opportunity

Xavier College is seeking a dedicated and proactive Property Services Officer to join our team supporting our Gawler Belt, Two Wells, Evanston and Riverlea Park campuses. This permanent, full-time role plays an important part in ensuring our learning environments are safe, functional, and welcoming for students, staff and the wider community.

Working under the general supervision of the Facilities Operations Manager, you will contribute to the effective maintenance of buildings, grounds and facilities, while upholding our Catholic identity and Salesian ethos.

In this role, you will :

• Carry out routine building, grounds and facilities maintenance to a high standard
• Undertake gardening duties, turf maintenance and safe operation of relevant machinery
• Support minor repairs, construction tasks and general maintenance activities
• Liaise with licensed contractors and support compliance with WHS directives
• Assist with inspections, hazard identification and site safety responsibilities
• Support out-of-hours security or emergency maintenance when required

Certificate III in horticulture or gardening, or relevant trade experience
