Business Intelligence Specialist

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and independent Senior Power BI Specialist to join our data and analytics team. You will play a key role in shaping our reporting capabilities by building high-quality dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions. You will also support the development of our underlying data infrastructure on Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models .

Build and maintain dataflows, datasets , and refresh schedules.

Develop scalable data models for financial and business reporting.

Work with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake and related tools).

Translate stakeholder requirements into effective reporting solutions.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance.

Support data pipeline development using SQL, Python, and dbt.

Contribute to reporting best practices and governance.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in Power BI development and DAX.

Strong knowledge of dimensional modelling and data warehousing.

Proficiency in SQL ; familiarity with Python .

Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric .

Experience with dbt is a plus.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
