SCOPE OF WORK

This role will focus on enhancing the International Sales function through robust financial planning, analysis, and compliance support related to global business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. International Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis for global markets
  • Identify new business opportunities in international regions
  • Assist in go-to-market strategies and international expansion plans

2. Global Sales & Business Development

  • Support regional sales teams with market entry strategies and client engagement
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business performance analyses
  • 3. Financial Planning, Analysis, Control & Forex Management

  • Monitor receivables and implement credit control mechanisms to ensure timely collections and reduce exposure to bad debts.
  • Support pricing decisions by analyzing cost structures and profit margins in various markets
  • Monitor foreign exchange trends and assess their impact on profitability
  • Prepare MIS reports for international operations
  • 4. Cross-border Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between headquarters and international offices / clients
  • Coordinate with global teams for execution of projects, marketing campaigns, and reporting
  • Facilitate virtual meetings and follow-ups with overseas stakeholders
  • 5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to trade compliance policies (export-import regulations, sanctions, etc.)
  • Stay updated on international business laws, tax regimes, and documentation requirements
  • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA – International Business
  • 0-2 years relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills with a sound understanding of financial modelling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and forex transactions
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in coordinating with international stakeholders
  • Experience working in global businesses will be an added advantage
