Vice President – Product (UPSC, State PCS and Other Online Courses)
1. Role Purpose
The Vice President – Product is responsible for designing and launching new online batches and courses for UPSC and State PCS preparation. This role ensures that Drishti’s online product portfolio remains competitive, student‑centric, and innovative. The VP Product defines how courses are structured, how students experience learning on the platform, and how new admission cycles are created.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. New Course & Batch Innovation
- Design and develop new batches, courses, and product lines that can compete with leading institutions.
- Create new admission cycles to boost recurring enrollments.
- Build product structures for Foundation Courses, NCERT Courses, Optional Subjects, Prelims and Mains programs and other potential new courses.
- Identify market gaps and create competitive offerings.
B. Product Strategy & Portfolio Planning
Own the product roadmap for online UPSC & PCS courses and other available courses.Develop quarterly and annual launch calendars.Ensure courses align with exam timelines.Introduce scalable product formats.C. Learning Experience & Course Architecture
Design module structures, sequencing, and revision loops.Define academic flow without creating content.Improve engagement and completion through journey design.D. Platform & Feature Ownership
Prepare PRDs for all learning-related app / web features.Oversee development of AI features, adaptive tests, dashboards, and doubt workflows.E. Course Delivery Systems
Define release cycles and integration pipelines.Coordinate with VP Content and VP Academics.Maintain version control and standardized delivery.F. Competitive Benchmarking
Study market competitors and introduce superior structures.Track industry trends and innovate continuously.G. Analytics & Improvements
Track watch‑time, test participation, engagement, and drop-offs.Use insights to refine courses, modules, and platforms.H. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work with VP Content, VP Academics, Technology, and Marketing / Sales for information exchange and ideas.4. Required Qualifications
10–15 years of product management experience (EdTech preferred).Understanding of UPSC / PCS exam ecosystem.Experience building digital products at scale.Strong analytical and cross-functional leadership skills.5. Core Competencies
