DNV – Digital Solutions is looking for a Senior UX Researcher and Designer to join our Software Engineering unit. As an operation we are responsible for developing world-class software for managing risk and asset management in a broad range of industries. Software Engineering consists of 500+ people worldwide, organized in five Product Centres and a Centre of Enablement.
As a Senior UX Researcher and Designer, you will join a global UX team focused on accelerating user-centered design across our product development teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design intuitive user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
- Plan and run user research activities, synthesis findings to actionable insights and iterate based on user feedback, data and analytics.
- Translate business objectives, technical constraints, and user needs into effective design solutions.
- Lead our design system and contribute with patterns and components.
- Evangelize UX best practices and the value of user-centered design across the organization.
- AI and Emerging technologies – experiment with how AI and emerging experiments can be incorporated to enhance the user experience
This role requires flexibility working with Europe, USA time-zones as needed.

Experience and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Information Architecture, Computer Development, Software Development or a related fieldOver 5 years of experience with UX research and designStrong skills in conducting research, synthesizing data, and translating insights into opportunitiesProven design craft with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered, visually compelling solutionsExperience in managing and evolving design systemsAdvanced proficiency in FigmaStrong communication and presentation skillsInnovative and growth-oriented mindsetAbility to independently manage projects while collaborating effectively across teams.
