Role Overview
We are looking for a full-cycle HR professional who can own the entire Hire → Manage → Develop → Retire employee lifecycle at Digital Nest. You will be the backbone of People Operations for our fast-growing 60+ member EdTech organization and will work closely with Leadership, HR, Trainers, Sales, Finance and Operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition (HIRE)
- End-to-end hiring for Sales, Trainers, Marketing, HR, Operations and Leadership roles
- Create job descriptions, manage postings, shortlisting, interviews and offers
- Coordinate campus hiring and internship programs
- Build candidate pipelines for priority roles
2. Onboarding and Documentation
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, NDAs and joining kitsConduct Day-1 orientation and training on internal toolsCollect KYC, bank details, PF / ESI forms and required documentationSet up employees in Zoho People, Zoho Payroll and HRMS3. Payroll, Attendance and Compliance
Manage end-to-end payroll processingOversee leaves, attendance, late coming, overtime and weekly offsEnsure PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS compliance and maintain statutory registersHandle payroll reconciliation with FinanceManage insurance, claims and additions / deletions4. Employee Relations and People Experience
Handle daily HR operations, queries and employee supportManage employee engagement : birthdays, R&R, events and team activitiesSupport employees in wellness, health and leave-related mattersBuild a positive, high-performance, people-first culture5. Performance Management and KRAs
Drive quarterly and half-yearly appraisal cyclesTrack KRAs, KPIs, sales performance and training progressSupport managers with goal-setting and PIP processesMaintain transparent performance documentation6. Learning, Training and Development
Coordinate internal training and upskilling sessionsTrack employee development and certificationsSupport leadership development initiatives7. HR Policies and SOPs
Draft, update and maintain HR policies (leave, attendance, payroll, wellness, culture)Ensure clear communication and smooth implementation across teams8. HRMS, Reporting and Data Management
Maintain HR dashboards, MIS reports and monthly HR dataManage employee files, contracts and confidential recordsUse Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Recruit and LeadSquared as neededConduct monthly HR audits and compliance checks9. Exit Management (RETIRE)
Manage resignations, exit interviews and knowledge transferCoordinate full and final settlements with FinanceIssue relieving and experience lettersConduct attrition analysis and closure feedback🎯 Candidate Requirements
