• Assist in providing expert tax advice and support to internal teams and clients on a wide range of tax issues.
• Stay current on federal, state, and international tax laws, regulations, and rulings.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on complex tax matters and present findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on tax-related topics to internal teams.
• Review and interpret new tax legislation and communicate implications to relevant parties.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
• Support tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical tax memoranda and documentation.
• Respond to tax inquiries from clients and internal teams promptly and accurately.
• Standardize tax processes and checklists.
• Update and maintain the knowledge management portal.
• Provide regular technical alerts and updates for the team and work towards external platforms in collaboration with MarComm.
• Increase the frequency of external presence through webinars and white papers.
