Job Summary :

We are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. MEP Resource-T&C- Operational Data Centres  with strong exposure to site due diligence and design Validation. He will be responsible for performing field inspections, supporting testing and commissioning, and documenting quality and compliance across MEPF, HVAC systems in Operational data centres. It also involves due diligence of Computer room Air conditioning (CRAC), Electrical and HVAC efficiency of utilities in full loading conditions supported with required testing such as Thermography, Lux level testing, Cooling and harmonics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct inspections of HVAC ducting, piping, VAV / AHU installations, and chilled water systems.
• Review electrical panel installations, DB wiring, conduit layouts, earthing systems, switchgear, UPS systems, DG sets, CRAC units, and cable tray installation.
• Support fire safety system inspections including fire pump room audits, sprinkler layouts, gas suppression system and pipe pressure tests.
• Witness functional testing : insulation resistance, flow balancing, BMS interface validation, fire alarm and detection.
• HVAC and electrical efficiency due diligence and testing of CRAC, racks to check Power utilization effectiveness (PUE) of data centres as per code requirements.
• Well versed with all functional testing and analysis of operational data centres
• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed checklists, snag lists, inspection reports, and as-built verifications.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve discrepancies or site deviations.
• Understand and interpret IS, NBC, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards as applicable to MEPF systems.
• Coordination and report presentation to the Technical Lead of the client and participate in client meetings.
• Carry out testing and commissioning from L1 to L5 as per client protocol
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) including Black Building Test, Functional Testing, and Endurance Testing

Requirements :

• BTECH in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 15 +years of MEPF and HVAC T&C in Data Centres out of which min 5 years in the field of operational data centres.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical safety, fire protection, and plumbing works.
• Hands-on with inspection tools and checklists.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Excel, and inspection reporting practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
