Oracle OTM Techno-Functional Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Techno-Functional Consultant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical and functional expertise in Oracle OTM solutions

and logistics processes.

You will lead end-to-end OTM implementations, enhancements, cloud migration projects, and provide expert consulting to optimize transportation and logistics Responsibilities :

• Lead full lifecycle Oracle OTM implementations, from requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, to post-go-live support.
• Perform business process analysis related to transportation management, logistics, and supply chain operations to align Oracle OTM solutions with client requirements.
• Configure and customize Oracle OTM modules to meet business needs including rate management, shipment planning, execution, freight payment, and settlement.
• Develop detailed solution design documents, including process flows, use cases, and technical specifications.
• Integrate Oracle OTM with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and other enterprise applications to enable end-to-end logistics automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve configuration, integration, and operational issues in Oracle OTM environments.
• Facilitate training sessions for business users and internal teams to ensure smooth adoption of Oracle OTM solutions.
• Support Oracle OTM cloud migration projects by analyzing current on-premises solutions and designing cloud-based architectures.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and external vendors to deliver quality solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration guides, process manuals, and test cases.
• Stay current with Oracle OTM product updates, enhancements, and industry best practices in logistics and transportation management.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project status, risks, and Skills & Expertise :
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle OTM configuration, customization, and administration.
• Ability to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
• Expertise in analyzing and optimizing transportation and logistics processes.
• Experience integrating Oracle OTM with ERP (such as Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP), WMS, and TMS solutions.
• Skilled in designing scalable and efficient transportation management solutions.
• Proficient in preparing detailed technical / functional documentation and delivering training sessions.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues in OTM environments.
• Experience with Oracle OTM Cloud migration projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of freight management, shipment lifecycle, routing, carrier selection, and freight payment processes.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and team collaboration
