Job descriptionUnderstanding project status and facilitate achievement of project objectives and priorities. Identifying process gaps and facilitating continuous refinement of conversion methodology. Overseeing data-related initiatives and identifying innovation and improvement opportunities. Adapting to and incorporating best practices across the conversion team while documenting and communicating to impacted stakeholders. Acting as an escalation point for active client engagements. Facilitating the accurate and timely integration mapping of client data from source system to our industry-leading platform. Applying and staying within the requirements of project governance, standards, and processes. Working in collaboration with project managers in the successful delivery of key projects and objectives. Developing a deep understanding of conversion products sufficient to facilitate decision-making at various levels. Communicating appropriately to internal and external stakeholders about the project deliverables and key updates. Training and mentoring other data conversion team Experience performing rapid assessments and being able to distill key themes as early as possible in an assessment process. Experience with assessing data and analytic requirements to establish mapping rules from Working experience using various data applications / systems such as Oracle SQL, Excel, .csv files, etc. Demonstrated experience automating manual data conversion, migration, or integration processes. Experience with real-time, batch, and ETL for complex data conversions. Strong knowledge of extract, transform, load (ETL) methodologies for large-scale data conversions, integrations, and / or migrations. Utilize data mapping tools to prepare data for data loads based on target system specifications. Strong SQL scripting experience. A track record of building and maintaining relationships with leaders, both internally and externally. Demonstrated ability to scope, develop, test, and implement data conversions. Proven success implementing data conversion processes. Ability to determine priorities daily to achieve business objectives. Experience in customer SIT, UAT, migration and go live support. Experience in creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture and creating data migration plans. Bachelors degree or equivalent. 8+ years of experience as a data conversion specialist or similar position. 10+ years of total experience in the IT / Financial / Equity domain. Equity compensation or financial data experience a plus but not required. Excellent English written, oral and presentation skills.
Position Summary :
The Team Lead, Data Conversion will build positive relationships with customers and serve as a primary point of contact for large scale complex product implementations and business-led change initiatives.
The role will include, but is not limited to :
- 10+ years of total experience in IT and at least 9+ yrs working experience in any ETL Tool.
- Leading the data conversion team to implement conversion implementation project deliverables.
- Collaborating with client operations and executive teams, confirming business requirements, and
aligning to technical requirements.
