About the Role

We’re looking for a Fullstack JavaScript Developer with at least 1 year of experience working with React, Node.js, and AWS . This is a remote, full-time role with plenty of space to learn, grow, and experiment. You’ll work on meaningful projects spanning education, culture, and technology while contributing to the full development cycle—from ideation to deployment.

Preference will be given to candidates from disadvantaged caste and gender backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React (frontend) and Node.js (backend)
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and occasionally dabble in serverless functions and AWS services
  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and other developers to translate ideas into robust, user-friendly products
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and product brainstorms
  • Contribute to regular hackathons , learning sessions, and team sprints
  • Maintain clean, readable, and well-documented code
  • Be part of a team where learning is encouraged and experimentation is part of the process

    • Requirements

  • 1+ years of fullstack development experience
  • Solid grasp of React , Node.js , and JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and SQL
  • Basic familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, etc.)
  • Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and version control (Git)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable with remote, flexible work setups

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless frameworks, or CI / CD pipelines
  • Exposure to testing libraries and automated testing
  • Familiarity with Agile workflows
  • Interest in social impact, education, or arts & culture
