Responsibilities and Duties :
1. Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for the assigned region to meet business objectives.
2. Forecast sales volumes and set achievable targets in alignment with company goals
3. Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to streamline operations and improve sales outcomes
4. Facilitate effective communication between teams to address challenges and capitalize on market opportunities.
5. Ensure efficient distribution networks to maintain optimum stock levels and product availability at all retail touchpoints.
6. Identify gaps in distribution and implement corrective measures to enhance market penetration.
7. Lead, motivate, and evaluate the performance of the sales team, ensuring alignment with business objectives
8. Provide training and development opportunities to improve individual and team competencies
9. Prepare and analyze P&L statements to monitor profitability and manage budgets effectively
10. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining sales efficiency and customer satisfaction
Desired skills / experience :
1. 10-15 years of work experience in FMCG sales, GT mandatory
2. Proven experience in sales and account management, particularly in the general trade sector.
3. Post graduate (in business, marketing, or a related field)
4. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
