About the Role :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Account Manager to support our patent services team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in intellectual property, with a particular focus on managing patent portfolios and client relationships across Asia. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring smooth coordination of patent filings, renewals, and communications between clients and our legal / technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison for corporate clients regarding their patent portfolios.
- Coordinate patent filings, renewals, and prosecution tasks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage timelines, deadlines, and workflow tracking using internal systems.
- Support clients with status updates, reports, and responses to general patent-related queries.
- Collaborate with IP attorneys, agents, and foreign associates to ensure timely submissions.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and understanding their IP strategy.
- Monitor client satisfaction and flag any issues to senior team members.
- Provide administrative support including invoicing, data entry, and CRM updates.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Science / Engineering, or a related field.Strong interest in intellectual property law or patent strategy.Excellent communication skills in English (other Asian languages like Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean are a plus).Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Familiarity with Microsoft Office and cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM systems).Eagerness to learn IP-specific tools and processes (e.g., USPTO, WIPO databases).Preferred :
Internship or 6–12 months of experience in legal services, client service, or IP admin.Basic understanding of patents, office actions, or filing procedures.Experience dealing with multinational clients is a plus.Working Hours :
Asia-based working hours with some flexibility to coordinate with global legal teams or clients in other time zones.What We Offer :
