Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s in GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, or related field 8+ years in GIS architecture, 3+ with Esri’s ArcGIS suite Experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, Oracle, enterprise geodatabases) Python (ArcPy), ModelBuilder skills Strong communication; bilingual (English & Arabic) preferred Esri certifications Experience with digital twins / 3D modeling Knowledge of geospatial metadata standards

About the Role
We are hiring a GIS Data Architect to lead the development of geospatial solutions for smart city projects in Riyadh. You’ll work with Esri’s ArcGIS suite, manage spatial data, and integrate GIS with enterprise systems to drive urban transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement GIS architecture (ArcGIS Enterprise, Pro, Online)
- Build and manage spatial data models, repositories, and services
- Integrate ArcGIS with enterprise and IoT platforms
- Support urban analytics, planning, and mobility
- Automate workflows using ArcPy / Python
- Lead cloud deployments and enable open data / API access
