We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SCADA Engineer with hands-on expertise in AVEVA / Wonderware Toolset and SE PLC & SCADA platforms.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, deployment, and support of industrial automation projects across a wide range of sectors.
This role requires strong technical skills, on-site project execution experience, and the ability to work closely with internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise panel manufacturing and perform hardware configuration.
- Prepare setup for Internal FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) / Customer FAT.
- Develop applications on X-Force, PLC, or SCADA platforms under the guidance of the Lead Engineer / Technical Manager / Project Manager.
- Deploy solutions (hardware / software) at the customer site, conduct testing and commissioning either independently or as part of a team.
- Provide technical support to customers as assigned, under supervision.
- Interact with customers for technical deliverables while keeping the Technical Manager (TM) and Project Manager (PM) in the communication loop.
- Prepare and update required project documentation.
- Maintain project backups in designated repositories.
- Create SOPs and technical notes for troubleshooting, maintenance, and site-specific configurations.
- Adhere to organizational policies.
- Submit daily reports for on-site / off-site activities to the Lead Engineer / TM / PM.
- Engage in self-learning through function-specific and cross-functional online / offline certifications.
Required Skills & Experience :
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in industrial automation projects.Expertise in AVEVA / Wonderware tools is mandatory.Strong working knowledge of SE PLC and SCADA systems.Experience in industrial system architecture, configuration, and commissioning.Ability to handle site activities independently and interact with clients effectively.Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and reports.Exposure to multiple industrial sectors.Ability to troubleshoot issues both remotely and on-site.Experience with HMI / SCADA integration and control systems lifecycle.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and upskilling.ref : hirist.tech)
