NeoStats Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / Azure to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in Microsoft Azure technologies, SQL, and Databricks. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting scalable data solutions, leading a small engineering team, and collaborating with clients to deliver cutting-edge data :

• Architect robust, scalable, and enterprise-grade data engineering solutions using Microsoft Azure Fabric, SQL, and Databricks.
• Lead and mentor a team of 24 data engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Interact with clients to understand their data requirements and propose tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to integrate data systems and ensure end-to-end data flow integrity.
• Optimize and automate data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design and implement data models, ensuring adherence to best practices in data architecture.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.
• Stay updated with Azure developments and continuously enhance architectural approaches to leverage new features.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for coding and data engineering within the team.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical :
• 59 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Fabric, SQL, and Databricks.
• Proven experience in architecting enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure and / or Azure Fabric are required.
• Excellent communication skills to manage client interactions and lead technical discussions.
• Experience leading small engineering teams (24 members) in a technical leadership capacity.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
• Hands-on experience with optimizing and automating data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance best practices.
