Position Title : Business Development Manager – US Market (Direct Client Acquisition)

Location : Bangalore / Remote

Employment Type : Full-Time

Experience Required : 4–6 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead direct client acquisition efforts in the United States market . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in US IT / Staffing / Consulting sales, with a proven ability to independently generate and manage direct client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic growth and work in close collaboration with delivery teams to provide best-in-class talent solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire direct enterprise clients in the United States, with a focus on staffing and consulting engagements.
  • Drive the complete business development lifecycle : lead generation, client outreach, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement heads, and business stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure timely and successful service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity, pipeline health, and performance metrics in the CRM system.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and business acquisition targets.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, market intelligence, and competitor activity to inform strategic planning.

Candidate Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or account management , specifically within the US market .
  • Demonstrated success in independently acquiring and managing direct client accounts (not via MSPs or tiered vendors).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the US hiring ecosystem, talent landscape, and industry-specific nuances.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a qualified lead pipeline using tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar platforms.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones as required.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network of client relationships in sectors such as Technology, BFSI, Healthcare, or Retail.
  • Familiarity with Statement of Work (SOW) contracts, remote staffing models, or DEI-focused hiring strategies.
  • Experience using modern CRM and sales enablement tools.
