Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Management Systems (DBMS) Expert to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing complex database systems, with a focus on cloud technologies, big data frameworks, and data governance.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring data security, optimizing performance, and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable database solutions to support business needs.
• Build data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Extract data from multiple sources, transform it into useful information, and load it into a usable format.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all systems.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance for efficient data retrieval.
• Perform database performance tuning to handle large data volumes and ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage and administer database systems, including SQL, MySQL, and BigQuery.
• Work with GCP Cloud services, including cloud storage solutions.
• Utilize and administer data cataloging tools, preferably Atlan.
• Develop and maintain Unix scripts for database automation and maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data

requirements and deliver effective solutions.
