Technical Account Manager is a dynamic role that combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to design tailored training solutions. This individual will work closely with customers to understand their technical and business challenges, and craft innovative training programs that drive value and support sales initiatives.
Job Description :
Strategic Engagement :
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for training to enhance customer satisfaction, contributing to the overall sales strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor in the realm of training and development, ensuring a clear understanding of their training needs and pain points.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand their strategic goals and integrate these insights into the training programs.
- Serve as a bridge between technical solutions and commercial interests, ensuring that training programs align with both technical requirements and business objectives.
Solution Design :
Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify the skills, knowledge, and competencies required for the client's workforce to achieve desired outcomes.Keep abreast of market trends and technological advancements to ensure that training solutions remain relevant and competitive.Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other internal teams to develop customized training programs that incorporate innovative learning strategies and techniques to address the unique challenges and goals of each client.Outcome Evaluation
Oversee the execution of training solutions, ensuring they are executed with high quality and effectiveness.Measure the impact of training programs on participant performance and business outcomes, making adjustments as necessary to optimize results.Develop and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of training solutions in achieving sales and technical goals.Implementing a robust feedback mechanism to gather insights from the client post-training and using this feedback to improve and tailor future training programs.Preference will be given to candidates who have :
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.Creative and strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.Certification in training, instructional design, or related field.Experience in designing and delivering training in a corporate environment.A strong network within the industry and a track record of successful business development.Experience with graphic design and layout tools to enhance proposal visuals.Certification in proposal writing or management from recognized organizations.Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.Proven experience in solution architecture, training, and a strong understanding of sales processes.Proven experience in technical proposal writing, preferably in the IT, engineering, or related technical fields.Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex solutions.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into commercial opportunities.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
