Job Overview :
We're looking for a skilled L2 - Solr Engineer with 3-8 years of experience, specializing in Solr database management, to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Apache Lucene-Solr, including its installation, configuration, administration, and optimization. You'll be responsible for maintaining critical production systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to scalable search solutions in a fast-paced :
- Solr Administration & Support : Install, configure, administer, patch, upgrade, and migrate Apache Solr instances, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- Indexing & Search Optimization : Implement Solr builds of indexes and shards, and refine search capabilities across semi-structured data sets to improve relevance and speed.
- System Troubleshooting : Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems, diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to Solr performance, availability, and data integrity.
- Linux & Unix Operations : Utilize expertise in Unix / Linux servers for basic troubleshooting, log analysis, and system maintenance related to Solr deployments.
- Independent Problem Solving : Exhibit strong analytical ability to execute and prioritize tasks, and resolve issues effectively without constant aid from direct management.
- Task Management : Efficiently multitask and context-switch between different activities and teams, maintaining productivity in a dynamic environment.
- Documentation & Planning : Organize and plan work independently, maintaining clear documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements :
