About the Role :
We are looking for a seasoned Tech Lead who will play a critical role in shaping our technology roadmap and leading a high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and strong leadership to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions. You'll be hands-on while also influencing engineering processes, architectural decisions, and cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Leadership & Architecture :
- Own and drive the architecture of large-scale systems with a long-term vision.
- Ensure sound design patterns and engineering best practices across teams.
- Identify subtle technical issues and proactively resolve them.
- Lead technical decision-making, offering persuasive and well-reasoned arguments.
2. Project & Process Management :
Plan, estimate, and deliver projects for the entire team.Identify bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and systemic inefficiencies.Set and monitor KPIs to track performance and progress.Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, testing plans, and quality assurance.3. Team Leadership & Collaboration :
Inspire, guide, and mentor team members towards shared goals.Facilitate effective collaboration and communication within and beyond the tech team.Debug and resolve both technical and people / process-related issues.Foster a strong engineering culture and support professional development.4. Strategic & Cross-functional Impact :
Participate in company-wide planning and contribute to executive decision-making.Make compelling business cases for technical initiatives and investments.Represent the tech team in public forums and industry platforms.Collaborate with non-tech teams to facilitate broader organizational change.5. Expertise & Ownership :
Be recognized as an expert in a core area such as UI / UX, Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, etc.Act as the technical owner of significant areas of the system, guiding them towards the target architecture.6. Resource & Financial Management :
Manage team finances, tooling costs, and resource allocation efficiently.Qualifications :
1. 7+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in a tech leadership role.
2. Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, scalable systems.
3. Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and modern software practices.
4. Experience in mentoring teams and driving cross-functional alignment.
5. Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
6. Hands-on expertise in your domain of specialization (e.g., Cloud, Infra, Frontend, etc.)
