Balancehero India Pvt. Ltd. (BHI), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Balancehero Co. Ltd., Korea which runs and operates the mobile app “True Balance”- a one-stop destination for financial services.” Founded by Charlie Lee in Korea in 2014, Balancehero started its operations in India in the year 2016. It started off as a balance check application and the company has expanded its business model to financial services. The company aims to build a financial platform for the next billion which set the context for loans, utility services, pay later services, and commerce services. The Company's wholly-owned subsidiary True Credits Private Limited, is a licensed NBFC that aims to bridge the financial gap in India by making Finance available for all. True Credits lends through the True Balance mobile application.

About True Balance

Owned and operated by BalanceHero Group, True Balance is an RBI authorized Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) issuing entity. It offers loans through its subsidiary and RBI licensed Non-Banking Financial Company - True Credits Private Limited and other RBI licensed partners.

Job Description :

B-Tech / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

Strong experience in Java
Strong hands on in Data Structures and Algorithms.

Strong hands on DESIGN PATTERNS..

Profound insight of JVM internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.) & Multithreading.

Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Spring boot).

MSA (Micro service architecture).

Experience with Collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence, Slack).

Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, MySQL, SQL and ORM technologies

Strong knowledge of caching concepts and event driven programming.

Ability to work with legal, product and internal business owners.

Experience related FinTech, e-commerce business

Good understanding of agile methodologies.

Nice to have :

Cloud technologies and distributed system experience

Experience in handling highly scalable and fault tolerant softwares.

Proficient in AWS / Linux environment.

Roles and responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

Backend developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance.

Write well designed, testable, efficient code and review, test, and debug team members’ code.

Prepare and produce releases of software components on schedule

Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Identify and analyse user requirements.

Prioritise, assign and execute tasks throughout the software development life cycle.

Design database architecture. .

Design HLD and LLD for features

Ensure our applications are secure and up to date.

Breakdown of bigger problems in smaller problems and tasks delegation.
