Job Title : Senior ServiceNow Developer – SPM Specialist

Location : India (100% Remote)

Timings : 3.00PM to 12.00AM IST

Experience Level : 5 to 7 years

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with specialized expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to lead and support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of SPM modules and extensive experience across ITSM, ITOM, and Employee Center to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
Lead or contribute to the implementation and enhancement of SPM modules, including :
Project Portfolio Management (PPM)
Demand and Resource Management
Strategic Planning Workspace and Planning Items
Financial Planning
Goals and OKRs
Extend and maintain core functionality across ITSM, ITOM, and Employee Center.
Design and implement custom solutions using :
Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies / Actions
Flow Designer workflows
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST / SOAP APIs; ensure data accuracy and synchronization.
Support platform governance, configuration management, and performance optimization.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (configurations, workflows, procedures).
Collaborate in Agile / SAFe development environments and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience across multiple modules.

At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in SPM (formerly ITBM).

Strong technical proficiency in :

JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer

SPM modules : Demand, Project, Program, Agile, Financial Planning

ITSM and ITOM modules

Experience working in Agile or SAFe delivery models.

Solid understanding of Employee Center for user experience design.

Proven end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow implementations in enterprise environments.

ServiceNow CSA certification is required; SPM / PPM certification preferred.

Experience with :

Performance Analytics

Service Portal or Employee Center Pro

Custom application development

Integration with Azure DevOps

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead initiatives and mentor junior developers.
